Terms of Service
Last updated: September 21, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms cover Baby Popov, a personal assistant on WhatsApp run by Jackal AI (“we”, “us”). That includes babypopov.com and Baby’s WhatsApp and phone numbers (together, the “Service”). By messaging Baby or connecting an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. What Baby does
With your go-ahead, Baby makes phone calls, sends emails and does research for you. He negotiates bills, cancels subscriptions, books or moves appointments, gets you onto waitlists, disputes wrong charges and shortlists options. He reports back on WhatsApp, and sends calendar invites and longer results by email.
3. What Baby doesn’t do
- Book travel, make payments or buy things.
- Give legal or medical advice. Anything he finds is information, not professional advice.
- Handle emergencies. For an emergency, call your local emergency number yourself.
4. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give your real name and an email address you control.
- Your account is tied to your WhatsApp number. Keep your phone secure: you’re responsible for what is sent from it.
- Tell us straight away at baby@babypopov.com if you think someone else has used your account.
5. You approve what commits you
Baby asks before anything that commits you, with the options Make the call, Change something or Skip. He also asks before each email he sends from your own Gmail.
When you say yes, you authorise Baby to act for you, and you are bound by what he agrees with the business on your behalf, such as a booking, a cancellation, a new plan or a fee. Check the confirmation he sends you, and tell him quickly if something is wrong.
6. Acting on your behalf
You authorise Baby to contact businesses and people for you as your assistant, and to share the details you give him when a task needs them. You confirm that:
- you’re allowed to share those details;
- the people you ask him to contact, other than businesses, would expect to hear from you, and haven’t asked not to be contacted;
- your requests follow the laws where you and they are, including rules on phone calls, messages and call transcription.
Baby introduces himself as your assistant and never pretends to be you. Calls are transcribed as text so he can follow them. A business may refuse to deal with an assistant; that’s their choice.
7. Connected accounts
Connecting Gmail or a 1Password vault is optional, and you can disconnect at any time (for Gmail, send /disconnect gmail). You confirm you own any account you connect. Those services’ own terms still apply to your use of them, and we aren’t responsible for their availability.
8. Acceptable use
You won’t use Baby to:
- harass, threaten, deceive or defraud anyone;
- contact people who have asked not to be contacted, or send spam;
- impersonate anyone, or get information you’re not entitled to, such as someone else’s account;
- do anything unlawful;
- probe, scrape or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
- copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works from any part of the Service, including our websites, their design, source code, user interfaces, prompts, models, workflows or documentation, or try to work any of them out by any means. These are our proprietary property, protected by copyright, trade secret and other intellectual property laws. We will pursue all available civil and criminal remedies against anyone who does this.
9. No guaranteed outcome
Baby does his best, but businesses can say no, change their prices or make mistakes, and Baby can mishear or misunderstand. We don’t guarantee any saving, refund, booking or result. We aren’t responsible for what a business does, charges or promises.
10. Fees
Baby is free during the private beta. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before we start charging, and we won’t charge you without your agreement.
11. Your content
You own what you send Baby and the results he produces for you. You give us a limited licence to process that content only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Availability
Baby is in beta. He depends on providers such as WhatsApp, Twilio and Google and may be interrupted by maintenance, outages or changes on their side. We don’t guarantee continuous availability.
13. Stopping
You can stop using Baby at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use creates legal or safety risk, or if a provider such as Google, Meta or Twilio requires it. When your account ends, we delete your data as the Privacy Policy describes.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Jackal AI isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, savings, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and USD 100.
16. Indemnity
You agree to cover Jackal AI against claims arising from your instructions to Baby, the information you share, your breach of these terms, or your breach of the law.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll tell you about material changes on WhatsApp or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using Baby after that, you accept the new terms.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction. This doesn’t remove any consumer protection you have under the law where you live.
