Who we are
Baby Popov is a personal assistant on WhatsApp, run by Jackal AI (“we”, “us”). This policy covers babypopov.com and the Baby Popov service. Questions go to baby@babypopov.com.
Information we handle
To run Baby Popov we handle your account details (name, phone number and email address) and what you share with Baby to get a task done. We use it only to provide the service. We don’t sell it and don’t use it for advertising.
Google user data
Connecting Gmail is optional. You choose it by sending /connect gmail and approving Google’s consent screen. Baby then uses these permissions:
gmail.readonly
To find a specific detail a task needs, such as a booking reference, and to read replies to emails he sent for you.
gmail.compose
To send emails from your address, only after you approve each one, and to save drafts for you to send yourself.
openid · userinfo.email
To show which Gmail account is connected.
What we keep
Only the parts of your email that a task used, kept with that task, and the access tokens that let Baby act for you, which are encrypted. Nothing else from your mailbox is copied.
Who it’s shared with
Only the service providers that run Baby Popov, including cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services) and AI processing (Microsoft Azure), and only to carry out your request. They may not use it for any other purpose, including training their models.
What Baby never does with your Google data
- Browse your inbox, or read mail that a task you gave him doesn’t need.
- Delete your mail.
- Send an email from your address without your approval.
- Sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it for any purpose other than providing the service.
- Use it to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
- Let a person read it, except with your permission, to investigate abuse or a security issue, or when the law requires it.
Baby Popov’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your controls
- /disconnect gmail revokes Baby’s Google access at Google straight away and deletes the stored tokens. You can also remove it from your Google Account.
- To delete your account and data, email baby@babypopov.com. We erase it within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep.
- You can ask to see or correct your information at the same address. We reply within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to the people who need it.
Children
Baby Popov is for adults 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes
We update the date above when this policy changes. If a change affects Google user data, we’ll tell you before it takes effect.
